A 1992 graduate of The University of Richmond, Sean oversees all construction projects, custom-home planning, contracts and Turner Construction's vast sub-contractor pool. Sean is very involved in the community and currently serves on Anderson University's Board of Emerging Leaders. He is also involved in Habitat for Humanity, the Homebuilder's Association of America, where he served as president in 2003, S.C. Youth Council, and is a graduate of Leadership Anderson. Frank Turner Profile: Frank Turner, 67, received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University and completed a graduate business curriculum for engineers at Sacramento State University in 1968. Frank joined the Marine Corps Reserves while at Clemson and after completing his training at Paris Island, remained in the reserve program. In 1963, he volunteered for active duty in the Air Force and earned a regular commission as an Electronic Warfare Officier where he taught Marine and Air Force flight officiers. He received his honorable discharge in 1969 and joined IBM for a three year stint as a systems engineer. In 1972, he accepted a position with Dr. T.C. Smith Company, Inc., buying a portion of the company in 1976 and serving as the Corporate Vice President until the company was sold to Bergen Brunswig in 1992. He and Sean founded Turner Construction Co. a few months later. |
